Since 2017, the DBU has been awarding fellowships for further qualification in the field of environmental protection and nature conservation in Germany to young master’s degree and PhD students from Ukraine.

Important dates

Application deadline: 05.03.2025
Selection interviews: April 2025
Start of the Fellowship: 17.08.2025
Start of the German intensive course: 19.08.2025
Start of further education: 15.09.2025

In recent years, many graduates from various universities in Ukraine have applied for fellowships. A total of 25 fellowships have been awarded to date. Many grantees come from engineering, economics, and geography departments. We would like to explicitly point out that applications from the social sciences, law and natural sciences are also very welcome.

Dr. Bertalan Radvanszky is the direct contact person for questions on site. He was himself a DBU Fellow in the MOE Fellowship Program and is in close contact with the DBU.
