Beispielhafte Untersuchungen und Validierung der Wasser- und Energieeinsparpotentiale bei Reinigungsanlagen (CIP) sowie im Bereich Abfüllung in Brauereien und Getränkeabfüllbetrieben

Beispielhafte Untersuchungen und Validierung der Wasser- und Energieeinsparpotentiale bei ReinigungsThe objective of this project is to reduce the amount of water and energy used in the beer industry, because in this sector the producer is using a lot of water to make the final product. We intend to collect date from different beer factories. The project started with the process of collecting date from a factory which haze a big automation system and a lot of data is stored on a server. The first factory from which we collected data for the research project is producing more then 1.5 mil hl of beer/year, and we think that in this factory we can reduce significantly the amount of water used during the technical process. In this beer factory almost all the cleaning processes are made automatically and so we can exclude a human error in opening and closing different valves and pumps in the cleaning process and in the mixing of the different substances. After we end the investigation in this factory we intend to do the same measurements and investigate different factories that have various quantities of beer production/year.In the smaller factories we need to measure the amount of water with external devices because a fully automatically system is here absent. The objectives of the project are to find out: – how much water is needed to wash one bottle an to cool it down to the right temperature- reduce the amount of water used in the cleaning process of the storage tanks, east maturation tanks, pipes and fermentation/maturation tanks – how to prevent the lost of heat buy using some simple methods that are cheap and very effective.
