Energy efficiency and energy saving are key factors for the energy transition and energy security. We will not achieve supply independence by expanding renewable energies alone. Energy efficiency reduces costs and is of central importance in terms of energy and climate policy.
The German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) will hold the Environmental Award Symposium on “Energy Efficiency and Saving Energy – Solutions for the Climate Crisis” on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Magdeburg – the day before the German Environmental Award 2022 will be presented – from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
At the symposium, we would like to discuss with winners of the German Environmental Award and other high-ranking representatives from business, science and civil society, among others, how we can succeed in sustainably reducing the demand for energy and making energy efficiency a central principle of political action.
Welcome
