Our funding goal
With our green start-up funding, we support founders that develop environmentally friendly, innovative and economically viable business models. The funding essentially provides financial and non-material support for a founding team to enable them to work full-time on their start-up.

Our services
- Professional support and supervision by DBU experts
- Invitation to DBU events,
e.g. for the presentation of the German Environmental Award - Integration into the DBU network,
e.g. DBU nachhaltig.digital - Financial support through subsidies
Framework conditions for funding
- Funding period: 24 months
- Funding: Up to €125,000 per start-up as a non-repayable grant (up to 100% funding; de minimis aid). The funding is paid out in installments and is to be used in particular as a living allowance for the persons working in the start-up (maximum € 2,000 per month & person); material costs and external services are funded to a lesser extent.
- Reporting by the start-up to the DBU on the basis of interim and final reports
