Current projects at the DBU Center for Environmental Communication:

• Nationwide campaign for ecological buildingrefurbishment “Refurbish your home – benefit!” with more than 12,000 participating partners from the skilled trades and extensive press and public relations work on behalf of the DBU’s Environmental Communications and Cultural Heritage Protection department.
• Organizational and communicative support of the“Week of the Environment” of the Federal President on behalf of the Environmental Communication and Cultural Heritage Protection Department of the DBU
• Conception, construction, marketing and touring of environment-related touring exhibitions on behalf of the DBU’s Environmental Communication and Cultural Heritage Protection Department.
• Operation of the event center with about 200 events and 20,000 guests annually as well as organization of numerous events at other locations
• Newspaper project and international meetings“Environment Builds Bridges” on behalf of the DBU’s Environmental Communication and Cultural Heritage Protection Department
• Public relations for the DBU incl. numerous publications, trade fairs and events
• Creation and distribution of the DBU’s own newsletter“DBU-Aktuell
• Production and distribution of the newsletter“DBU aktuell Umweltbildung” on behalf of the DBU’s Environmental Communication and Cultural Heritage Protection department
• Communication measures on environmental topics such as:

Outstanding projects of the past years:

• Contributing to the production of the report “Acting Fairly, Changing Fairly. Environmental Education for Young People” as part of the“Orientation for Social Investors” project of the Bertelsmann Foundation and PHINEO gAG on behalf of the DBU’s Environmental Communication and Cultural Heritage Protection Department.
• Conceptual, organizational and communicative support of the“Plaza of Diversity” on the occasion of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Bonn 2008 on behalf of the Environmental Communication and Cultural Heritage Protection Department of the DBU
• Conceptual, organizational and communicative support of the event of the 44th national competition “Jugend forscht” in Osnabrück 2009 on behalf of the department of environmental communication and protection of cultural assets of the DBU
